Fernando Cat Ramirez was born in 1985 in Houston, Texas where he lives. Ramirez received a BFA from the Kansas City Art Institute in Art History and Painting.

Sophie Roach is a self-taught artist and illustrator based in Austin, TX. 

Christopher Sperandio

 

Christopher Sperandio is an Associate Professor at Rice University, and founder of
the Comic Art Teaching and Study Workshop (CATS). His work is usually collaborative, including a large body done in collaboration with British artist Simon Grennan. His work and publications have been displayed and published in venues in many countries. Among his recent works is Cargo Space, a mobileartists’ residency.

Jason Villegas

Jason Villegas got his BFA at the University of Houston and an MFA at Mason Gross School of the Arts. His work has been shown in venues in Texas, Colorado, New York, and CA, including a solo exhibit at theCAMH in 2009.

Sarah Welch

 

Sarah Welch is an artist who lives and works in Houston. She regularly publishes prints, zines, and comics with Mystic Multiples, a Houston-based print shop specializing in letterpress and risography. Welch is a 2015 Idea Fund recipient and current resident at Centraltrak (Dallas). 

Mack White

 

Mack White is a Fort Worth cartoonist. His work has appeared in numerous cutting edge comics anthologies as well as in solo publication The Mutant Book of the Dead, Villa of Mysteries, and Texas Tales Illustrated: The Revolution .
