Scott A. Gilbert studied art at the University of Texas at San Antonio, the University of South Florida and the University of Houston (Lawndale studios). From 1989 to 2002, he produced the weekly comic strip "True ArtistTales", some of which were in It's All True! The Best of True Artist Tales.
